I am interested in working with students at all levels that are interested and excited about robotics. My goal is to provide influential personal guidance that maximises your chances of building a rewarding and enjoyable career in research and/or industry. A few goals that I have for my students include: 1) identifying a fundamental research problems through a comprehensive understanding of current literature; 2) developing a strong technical background that enables the creation of dependent and innovative solutions to challenging problems; 3) presenting and publishing research in internationally-recognised journals and conferences; 4) developing the personal communication and presentation skills necessary to enhance visibility in the research community, and increase the chances of future success.

Prospective Students

If you find this approach appealing, and my research area of interest, I believe my group could provide you with a vibrant and exciting educational experience. For Master's and PhD degrees, please see the Contact Me page for details on how to get into my group. For 4th year students enrolled in BEB 801/802, a list of my available projects is located on the student projects page. These projects are also available to students interested in doing independent research and can potentially be expanded for a Master's degree by research.
